The Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Center of the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) and Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia on September 6th, 2016.

In recent years, CBI is strongly supporting the development of Armenian Wine Sector.

Since 2012, within the framework of SEEMINE project, support has been provided to the 5 winemaking companies to help increase the export volume.

To raise the joint labor productivity, CBI organized the second workshop in Sasunik village of Aragatsotn region, Armenia on September 6th, 2016. Some marketing steps related to the export to the European countries were reviewed as well as group discussions took place.

During the workshop CBI presented the analysis of local market, strengths and weaknesses of the sector. Representatives of wine industry and interested organizations were involved in the working group discussions. During the workshop some assignments were delivered, the conclusions will be presented during the next workshop.

The outcomes and opinions achieved during the discussions will be outlined and included in the Armenia's Wine Export Marketing Policy document submitted by CBI with the intention of contributing to international market expansion and increasing visibility of Armenian wines.
